physical activities









Physical activities are good for our health. If you want to study very well, you should do more physical activities. As a boy, I like many sports, such as basketball, football and even dance. My favourite sports are basketball and dance. I know sports can relaxed ourselves. It can take away our worries. So during the Spring Festival Holiday, I played the basketball with my cousin. My cousin is younger than me, but I think physical activities are suitable for all ages even he is younger than me. In this days, I played the basketball about twelve hours.
My cousin told me that he wanted me to teach him to play basketball. So, I promised him. First, I told him some rules, such as you should not take three steps with the ball, you can only handed the ball twice, then you should tap the basketball and so on. Now, my cousin know many skills about the basketball, so I told him that a good basketball player should have the good skills, he or she also should have strong body. So when we play the basketball, I would run around the playground about three circles. At the beginning, my cousin did not understand me, he asked me why we should run before we practised. Then I remind a good way, I took him to watch the CBA (China's professional men's basketball). During the match, I told him that if you did not have a strong body, you will have no advantages. After looked at this match, my cousin knew the importance of the strong body. I did the sports with him together. Then , he put all his efforts to make himself stronger. He also played the dumbbell fifty times per time. I also told him that jumping was also important. Then I play the leapfrog to improve his jumping. He could not do it at all, he learned it very slowly. I was just like him when I first did it. Then I taught him how to shot. Practising was the most important way to shot, the more you practise, the more feeling you would get when you were shotting. So your shot was accurate. After this holiday, I desided to play basketball with my cousin every Friday for about two hours per time. I felt very full and happy when I was teaching.
From this physical activities, I got many benefits, such as I had a stronger body, I knew how to teach children, and I knew how charm the basketball was. From this physical activities, I learned that maybe I will be the coach in the primary basketball team, maybe I can be a PE teacher like Mr. Harris. Physical activities can promote better learning and life. So I think physical activities are the foundation of the learning and life. I like physical activities. It makes me stronger and happier.
